2nd Hour:
Dan Norcini, from JSmineset.
John Perkins, author and
editor of
Confessions of an Economic Hit Man. This
weeks show features Part 2 of his presentation.
Dan is a professional off-the-floor
commodity trader residing in Texas and can be reached
at dnorcini@earthlink.net with comments.
Over the past years that I have
been privileged to participate in this fledgling
generational bull market in gold, I have written
a goodly number of essays detailing the Commitments
of Traders reports and analyzing how that relates
to the price action experienced in the gold futures
pit at the Comex.
Having been at this game for a long
time now, I can usually get a pretty good feel for
who is doing what during the course of the week
by comparing the price action in the pit against
the previous weeks COT report and looking
at the long term trend of a market.
-Confessions
of an Economic Hit Man
John Perkins-
John Perkins spent three decades
as an Economic Hit Man, business executive, author,
and lecturer. He lived and worked in Africa, Asia,
the Middle East, Latin America, and North America.
Then he made a decision: he would use these experiences
to make the planet a better place for his daughters
generation. Today he teaches about the importance
of rising to higher levels of consciousness, to
waking up -- in both spiritual and physical realms
-- and is a champion for environmental and social
causes. He has lectured at universities on four
continents, including Harvard, Wharton, and Princeton.
His Book, The New York Times bestseller,
Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, (now in paperback),
tells the story of his remarkable life. To learn
more
His newest book, The Secret History
of the American Empire, zeroes in on hot spots
around the world and, drawing on interviews with
other hit men, jackals, reporters, politicians,
and activists, examines the new geopolitical crisis
and what can we do to change things for the next
generations. To learn more

basic areas; all business, most of the time in
the financial world. He likes what he is doing
and would do it whether or not there were a financial
reward. Approaching 70, George is in the autumn
of his years, but thoroughly enjoys following
all markets, learning more every day and trying
to assist those he speaks with on the phone to
navigate this stormy sea.
